Doug - Day 1

Well, yesterday didn’t quite go as planned. Today we should have woken up in St. John, but instead we were all waking up in a hotel in Atlanta. Normally when people have a cancelled flight or problems with travel bad moods and frustration go hand in hand with that. Well not with our group. We took what we were given and made the best of it, and that is what is so amazing about this group. It doesn’t matter what happens with us, we are going to take the situation we are given and make the best of it. In a time that people could have been short with each other and acted immature, we were laughing and having a good time. The spirit of God is very present in this group and I am extremely thankful for that. Now we are about to land in St. John and I cannot wait to see how God continues to use our group for his work.
