Trips with college ministry always have there twists and turns. Today did not start exactly how we planned. Between Delta and our traveler’s insurance we saved a lot of money, got a place to stay (where we all get one last hot shower and night in a comfy bed), and had a FABULOUS evening meal in downtown ATL. John always takes care of us!! Our group is absolutely incredible. The day was filled with laughter and flexibility. Praise God for optimism and humor! I was extremely proud of the way everyone handled the day. Can’t wait to get there and see what this week holds for us. I know God has big plans for the island and this group. Pray that the service goes well tomorrow night, group unity continues to be wonderful, we get our jeeps ok, get camp set up, and are fully prepared for VBS to start early Monday morning!

Laughing continuously throughout the day in a delirious state
All of the team being super laid back and calming me down when I got worried
Hangin by the hot tub in afternoon with Anna, Peter, Jeff, and Troy just talking
Sleeping in air conditioning and getting one last hot shower!
