Wake up at 4 AM. Scratch that, I didn’t really sleep at all. Leave the house at 4:30 to make it to the airport by 5 in the morning. Get to the airport and find out that our flight is delayed 5 hours… That was the first part of the morning.
The rest has been a blessing! My favorite part of the whole day was the group’s attitude towards everything. Nobody really complained all day despite the craziness trying to get a plane. Needless to say, we didn’t make it to St. John today. Our flight was delayed a ton, so we are chillin in the ATL for the night. We had an awesome day of playing fun games in the airport and eating complimentary meals from either the airline or the travel insurance, and just having a lot of time to hang out. Even though things went against our plans for the day, God had a different plan in mind. A few things come to my mind about today. One is, as I was speaking to Holly about earlier today, that I think that Jesus has some amazing things in store for us this week. Even more amazing than normal (if that makes sense). The devil is not blinded to the things we are doing, and the fact that we are fourteen believers in Jesus Christ carrying out his command to make disciples of all men here there and everywhere does not go unnoticed. I believe that Jesus has some very extraordinary things in store, and I can’t wait! Great day today. Now rest, for more traveling tomorrow.
