Jared - Day 7

Today was the last day of VBS, and it was a great day! Troy taught the big kids group and I was very proud of him. Troy is one of my best friends and I have had the great pleasure of growing up with him and also watching him grow. We had a great time, and had lunch with some of the kids afterwards. In the afternoon we got to go shopping for a little bit and then go hang out at the beach. I don’t know why, but I was in a weird mood today. I have had a great week and it has all gone very well. I guess God has been challenging me and growing me through this trip and I am having to deal with – and this sounds silly because I have been teaching this stupid VBS like 3 times already – but I have to come to terms with the fact that I can in fact do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Sometimes I get these ideas of what God is going to do in my life and it scares me, but I need to have courage and run head-first into whatever it is He shows me. This week has been great and I am looking forward to a relaxing day of fun and getting home!
