Kyle - Day 2

Well, we’ve finally made it. After 30 hours of delay after delay we’ve finally made it to our makeshift homes for the week. Currently we’re all sitting at a restaurant called Rhumb Lines waiting for our overly priced meals to come to us. Although today hasn’t been as crazy as yesterday, we have still had a pretty eventful day. We all had our separate lunches at the airport and then a nice relaxing 3 and half our flight down to St Thomas. The islands are absolutely beautiful with their colorful houses, rolling hills, and crystal clear water. As soon as we landed we had to catch a ferry over to St John, which was very entertaining to me considering we fit about 30 vehicles very tightly on a very small ferry. We only got about 20 feet out to sea before the ferry had to go back to land because John had left his preaching clothes on another vehicle that was going to be on the next ferry. So after John, Jeff, and Doug changed clothes in front of tons of people we were finally ready to have our service at Cruz Bay Baptist Church. It was awesome to meet completely new people and then a few minutes later be dancing around with them to a kids song while Jeff stalled for Jared to fix the projector. All in all the service was awesome, between the singing, dancing, testimonies, and sermon. I look forward to VBS with the kids tomorrow and I really hope everything goes very smoothly tomorrow. I also pray that God reveals himself while we’re with these kids and adults.
