Kyle - Day 7

As we close out our last day of VBS I find myself saddened. It has been a pretty long and tiring week but I have really enjoyed the time I have been able to spend with the kids and our group. Today was pretty special for us because a group of about 6 of the youth ate lunch with us at the church. I didn’t really know them all that well, but it was pretty cool to see the interaction between them and people that have come back year after year. We went back to our camp site for a while after lunch and just spent a couple hours enjoying the beach before we went to dinner at one of the kids houses. One of the boy’s parents from the youth named Christian invited us over for a relaxing swim and dinner. Although the pool was very relaxing, it was also short lived. About 5 or 6 of the kids from the youth came splashing into the pool. What we thought would be a time to relax and enjoy the night turned into another day of VBS. It was actually pretty fun though being able to rough house with some of the boys and just enjoy the last little bit of time we had with the.
